Marc G. Whitefield is one of the founding members of the Firm with more than 35 years of labor-management relations law experience.

His practice focuses on all areas of labor-management relations, representing management in the entertainment, lodging and gaming industries across the country.  He negotiates collective bargaining agreements, follows up on their administration and regularly counsels employers located in most major cities.  As part of his follow-up on contract administration, he has arbitrated, mediated and facilitated hundreds of matters arising out of workplace disputes. His practice also includes the defense of all types of employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, FLSA, FMLA, and wrongful discharge claims before administrative agencies and courts. He represents employers in connection with all phases of union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining agreements and regularly appears before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). He has had extensive experience in problem avoidance counseling, and in drafting and implementing effective policies, employee manuals and handbooks.

Marc is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A.) and Wayne State University (J.D.) where he was a member of the Wayne Law Review.
