Alan J. Ferrara is an attorney with a concentration in tax and business law, including estate planning and retirement planning. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.B.A, 1973) and Wayne State University (J.D., 1976). He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, (Member: Corporation, Finance and Business Law Section; Employee Benefits Committee, and Tax Section; Probate and Trust Law Section) and is also a member of the American Bar Association. He is a board member of the International Association for Financial Planning, Southeast Michigan Chapter, and was President of that Chapter in 1987-1988. He is also a Board Member of the Northville Community Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Ferrara has spoken before many groups on ERISA, Employee Benefit Law, Deferred Compensation, Estate Planning, and Tax Planning.
