Alan J. Ferrara is an attorney with more than 34 years experience. Alan's primary practice areas include Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, Business Planning and Tax Planning. He has been a Member of the Firm since 1995.

Alan was admitted to the practice of law in Michigan in 1976, and received his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University and his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Michigan in 1973. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Member: Corporation, Finance and Business Law Section; Taxation Section and Employee Benefits Committee; Probate and Trust Law Section) and is also a member of the American Bar Association.

Alan is a former Board Member and President of the Financial Planning Association, Michigan Chapter. He has spoken before many groups on Estate Planning, Tax Planning, ERISA, Employee Benefit Law and Deferred Compensation. Alan also is a former Board Member and a past  President of Walnut Creek Country Club.
